Lived Experiences: Cancer and Health Professionals (Sept. 28th)
Topics that will be covered:
An opportunity for researchers and community members to share their personal experiences with cancer and its impact on personal life, career, and commitment to advocacy.
What attendees can expect to learn:
We hope this webinar will bring our survivorship community closer as scientists, researchers, and advocates come together to share an intimate conversation about battling cancer and the hope that can come from advocacy through health education, community organizations, and innovation in science and medicine. The goal is to show the community that they are not alone in their diagnosis and experiences, and though it was a chapter in their story, finding ways to cope and look forward to the future by being proactive can provide hope for the future of cancer survivorship care. We hope this will inspire individuals to get involved in some of the many ways cancer survivors can pay it forward in their own communities and social circles.
