You must sign the informed consent in front of a witness on the day of the event.
We believe in a transparent partnership through our Bench with Bedside Initiative™ and would like you to be fully aware and on board.
3. Blood Draw
After the consent, you will be handed a bag which contains an ID number unique to you.
This ID number is what you will use to register online to track your results. So make sure to put that in your purse, wallet, or somewhere safe.
The bag will contain two 10 milliliter blood collection tubes which you will hand to the phlebotomist. It will contain smaller tubes which will be given to the lab for processing the sample. Labels with your Participant number will also be provided.
3. Pick up Vile
After the consent, you will be handed a small package which contains a vile and information that your doctor will need to draw the blood.
