The mission of The Bench with Bedside Initiative Team is to emphasize the importance of a collaboration between breast cancer patient and scientific researcher to foster transparency in scientific research and to help achieve Komen’s Bold Goal to reduce deaths from breast cancer by 50% by 2026.
This is not your grandmother’s Race for the Cure. The More than Pink Walk is evidence of the laser focus Komen is directing toward a goal of no more deaths from breast cancer.
